Why stop at paper? Colored pencil and wood are perfect together! In this fun class, Jan will show you how to create a fun and functional wooden box, perfect for jewelry, keepsakes, or use as a gift box! You’ll love how pencils just seem to glide on wood.

Learn from a Pro

Jan will walk you through a simple project using the techniques she has perfected over years of working with CP and wood. She’ll also share tips and ideas to help make your future CP projects a success.

You’ll learn:
• How to choose and prep wood
• Techniques for adding colored pencil to the wood
• How to finish and protect your finished creation

Whether for crafts or fine art, you may be surprised at all the things you can do with your colored pencils and wood!

About Jan Fagan
Jan works as an artist in the Pacific Northwest but has lived all over the United States, including Hawaii. She works in colored pencil and art pen and loves trying them on unusual drawing surfaces. Jan sees her art as a way to hopefully bring light, magic and wonder into the lives of her viewers.

Each short, focused class is a mere 60 to 90 minutes, but you’ll learn lessons you can use for a lifetime. Small projects or single topics that deserve a bit of delving into, Jelly Beans will enhance your skill set and knowledge base in a fun, quick fashion, all from the comfort of your own home. Scheduled on both weekdays and weekends, we hope to accommodate every schedule.

• You’ll receive an email with a link to download the “How to Prepare” PDF with Zoom instructions, as well as a link to the classroom – SAVE this PDF.
• On the day of the workshop, just before 10:30 am Pacific Time, click on the link to enter the classroom.
