You’ll enjoy working with creamy PanPastels and Prismacolor pencils as you create a lovely, blurred background with seamless color transitions.  Learn a variety of pencil strokes and techniques to render soft, wispy feathers, realistic facial features, and natural woodland foliage.

In this workshop you will learn how to…

• Blend PanPastels with Prismacolor pencils for an ultra-smooth background
• Render realistic textures with blending and burnishing techniques
• Create a full spectrum of values for natural-looking woodland foliage

Come to class in your pajamas!

While you are comfortable at home, Cynthia will guide you through creating this wonderful still life and give you the skills you need to feel confident about using her techniques. You’ll get Cynthia’s personal guidance as you interact with her in real time, ask questions, and get her feedback.

What you need to know:

• You’ll receive an email with a link to download a PDF of the workshop project reference photo and line drawing after you register, as well as a link to the classroom.
• On the day of the workshop, just before 8 am Pacific time, click on the link to enter the classroom.
• As Cynthia demos in class, you’ll follow along with the drawing.
• During the live workshop, feel free to ask Cynthia questions.
• 4-5 days after the workshop concludes, you’ll receive a link to a video recording of the entire workshop.
• Immediately after class, you’ll receive a PDF with step by step images and instruction for the entire class project.
