Over the years, Jan and Rhonda have each gathered a unique collection of craveable art gizmos, tricks, and resources, and they’ve decided to share some of their coolest stuff with you in this entertaining Jelly Bean demo class: “Tools, Toys, and Tricks.”
Not one, but TWO friendly, fun and supportive instructors. Jan and Rhonda want to help you bring more fun, experimenting, discovery and play into your colored pencil life! Come ready to take notes as you hear about unique items, resources, and tricks to help make your art life more fun and productive!

About Jan Fagan
Jan’s heart is happiest working in her imaginative and illustrative style. In addition to creating and selling her art, she leads workshops in beginner colored pencil, character design and creativity. Her work has been featured in Ann Kullberg’s COLOR magazine as well as other publications.
About Rhonda Dicksion
Rhonda Dicksion, CPSA, CPX, has been creating colored pencil art since 2015. She is the editor-in-chief of Ann Kullberg’s COLOR Magazine, communications director for the Colored Pencil Society of America, and member of the Arizona Artist’s Guild. Rhonda has won many local, regional, and national awards for her colorful artwork, and loves sharing her skills, stories, and tips in relaxed and fun workshops.
What’s a Jelly Bean Class?
Small, sweet and hard to stop at just one, Jelly Bean classes are our newest way to help you and your colored pencil life bloom. Each short, focused class is a mere 60 to 90 minutes, but you’ll learn lessons you can use for a lifetime. Small projects or single topics that deserve a bit of delving into, Jelly Beans will enhance your skill set and knowledge base in a fun, quick fashion, all from the comfort of your own home. Scheduled on both weekdays and weekends, we hope to accommodate every schedule.
What you need to know:
- You’ll receive an email with a link to download a PDF with Zoom instructions, as well as a link to the classroom.
- On the day of the workshop, just before class begins, click on the link to enter the classroom.
- As Jan & Rhonda lead the workshop, you’ll take notes and get to ask questions.
Requirements:
- Laptop, PC, Mac, tablet or iPad with speakers
- Supplies: a notebook and pencil (also emailed after registration)
